This month Bookish Treasures, K-Books, and A Dreamer's Thoughts are hosting NetGalley November where reviews attempt to bust through as many NetGalley ARCs as possible in one month. My goal is the "Super Star" level which is 21+ and let's see how well I've done this week so far!

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black (being posted today)

How many books do I have to go to read my goal? Technically I will be like one review short once I post those reviews. But I am aiming for a lot more than just 21, so we'll see what happens in the next week's update!

About the author

Bailee is the type of person you would expect to find with her nose buried in a book or a notebook and a pencil in hand. She loves reading and she loves reviewing the books she reads. This is certainly becoming a passion of hers.

  1. Boy do I feel like an underachiever! My aim is to read 8 netgalley books over the entire challenge. So far I've managed 2!

I have really noticed that my approval rating has gone done since Netgalley started to provide a percentage on my profile.I am really hoping that this challenge will ell me to tackle my Netgalley TBR and improve the situation.

After the first week I am at approx. 50%. I don't know how close to 80% I will get, my math's isn't very good ;)

My plan is to start with the recently published and work my way back through my galleys

Now, if only I could resist the urge to request more titles...

    1. I feel like I am... crazy attempting as many books as I actually want to! I had surgery on my foot in March of this year and then was also full time at college as well. So, my reviewing halted to a stop while I healed and tried to survive my classes when I couldn't walk.

But being the type of reader I am, I didn't stop requesting books on NetGalley. I believe I have like 212 books that I was approved for and only 35 or 40 feedbacks sent. Needless to say my approval rating is so low I would probably be scoffed at if I asked for any new books (which keeps me from requesting).

Now I just have to get my ratio up... by a lot and therefore I never stop reading. EVER! NetGalley will essentially own my life for the next few months until I get through at least most of them.

I am glad that you are doing this as well! Keep me updated and I will for sure check out your blog.
