Hey guys! I know it's been a long time with no updates - I promise they are coming, despite my hiatus - but I couldn't miss this chance to post about this opportunity.
Every November there is an event to write a 50,000 word novel called NaNoWriMo and in 2013, 444,514 writers participated in it. But what makes NaNoWriMo absolutely amazing is that it is completely free and anyone can do it! The writer’s goal is 50,000 words but the nonprofit that runs NaNoWriMo has bigger goals in mind. They bring free creative writing programs to nearly 500,000 kids and adults in approximately 200 countries, 2,000 classrooms, 650 libraries, and 600 NaNoWriMo regions every year. This is why I am fundraising for NaNoWriMo.
Let’s help support people’s dreams and “spark a creative revolution.” NaNoWriMo needs supporters like us to help fund their programs because donations are 47% of their revenue and without our help, there won’t be a creative revolution.
